Michigan Legislature Adopts Smokefree Legislation. MAPPP congratulates Michigan’s legislators for approving legislation to ban, with a few exceptions, smoking in workplaces. House Bill 4377 (also known as the Dr. Ron Davis Law) can be found here. The law goes into effect on May 1, 2010.
